Why The Mount of Olives?

The Mount of Olives is a perfect place for a strategic evangelism ministry for the following reasons:

-It’s where Jesus took His disciples to pray…therefore a great place for us as His disciples to go and be   with Jesus and pray.

​-It’s where Jesus prayed the Father’s will be done…a great prayer for all believers.

​​​​​

-It’s where Jesus came down on his descent into Jerusalem in His triumphal entry to be declared the   Messiah, the King, shortly before His crucifixion.

-It’s where Jesus ascended into heaven.

​​​​​

-It’s where Jesus is coming back…a great place to wait on the Lord for His return.

​​​​​​

-It’s where Jesus gave the great commission in Acts 1:8 to go out and evangelize the whole world.

-This is where it all started, and this is where it's going to end. ​​

“On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley….Then the LORD my God will come, and all the holy ones with him…The LORD will be king over the whole earth.”
